Life has been like driving a car with no brakes these past couple of weeks. It's hard for me to slow down and connect with myself. Between family, running my website, going to school, and working it takes a toll on my health. I will admit I haven't meditated in awhile. I do take walks around the neighborhood and I love to do that. Still you need something to do for days you can't go out.
So now I drink a cup of tea before I go to bed. Sometimes I drink it during the day and it eases my mind. Chamomile tea is pretty good with its calming aroma. I let my imagination run wild and imagine myself in a cabin in the middle of the woods. Other times I'm on a beach letting the waves hit my feet. Just take a mind's journey to peaceful places.
When I'm done I feel relaxed and wind down. Not good to go back into anything really productive. If anything catch up on something creative and less stressful. I wanted to share that tip with you all.
